Volkswagen is a German vehicle manufacturer that started in 1937. It was the largest automaker by worldwide sales in 2016. The Volkswagen group consists of many vehicle brands including Audi, Škoda, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ducati, and Volkswagen.
By 2020 Volkswagen intends to begin the production of electric cars in North America. They aim to produce autonomous-driving vehicles by 2025, as well as introducing 30 electric vehicles by the same year. Across the group they aim for 50 battery EVs by 2030.
